Students who complete this add-on will receive documentation showing completion of the Optional 582E Add-On training.

This asbestos Worker Refresher course is designed for individuals who have previously completed an approved asbestos worker initial course and need to maintain their annual certification.

Students will review key asbestos safety requirements, health effects, personal protective equipment, work area setup, decontamination procedures, proper handling and removal practices, waste handling, and regulatory responsibilities. The course is intended to reinforce safe work practices and help workers stay current with asbestos abatement requirements.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate of completion for the asbestos Worker Refresher training.

This course is intended for: Individuals performing asbestos abatement work who need to renew their asbestos worker training.

This asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Refresher course is designed for individuals who have previously completed an approved asbestos contractor/supervisor initial course and need to maintain their annual certification.

The course reviews supervisor responsibilities, regulatory requirements, project planning, worker protection, containment setup, negative air systems, decontamination procedures, waste handling, air monitoring coordination, recordkeeping, and jobsite oversight. Students will review practical responsibilities related to managing asbestos abatement projects safely and in compliance with applicable requirements.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate of completion for the asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Refresher training.

This course is intended for: Supervisors, competent persons, foremen, project managers, and individuals responsible for overseeing asbestos abatement projects.

This asbestos Inspector/Management Planner Refresher course is designed for individuals who have previously completed approved asbestos Inspector and Management Planner training and need to maintain their annual certification.

The course reviews asbestos inspection procedures, sampling requirements, documentation, report preparation, hazard assessment, response action recommendations, management plan requirements, and regulatory responsibilities. Students will review both the inspection process and the management planner’s role in evaluating asbestos-containing materials and recommending appropriate actions.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate of completion for the asbestos Inspector/Management Planner Refresher training.

This course is intended for: Asbestos inspectors, management planners, consultants, school personnel, and environmental professionals who need to renew their Inspector and/or Management Planner training.
