Air Monitoring Initial (July)

This Air Monitoring Initial course is designed for individuals who need training in asbestos air monitoring procedures and field responsibilities. Students will learn the basics of asbestos air monitoring, including sampling equipment, pump calibration, sample collection, documentation, chain of custody, work area monitoring, clearance monitoring, and the role of air monitoring during asbestos abatement activities.
An optional 582E Add-On is available for students who need additional training related to asbestos air sample analysis requirements. Students who want to complete the 582E Add-On must enroll in the Optional 582E Add-On separately in addition to registering for this Air Monitoring Initial course. Students choosing this add-on will receive additional instruction specific to the 582E component.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of completion for the Air Monitoring Initial course. Students who separately enroll in and complete the Optional 582E Add-On will receive documentation reflecting that additional training.
This course is intended for: Environmental technicians, consultants, project monitors, asbestos professionals, and individuals seeking air monitoring training with the option to separately enroll in the additional 582E component.
